Abstract:

Wulingshan Regional Development & Poverty Alleviation Project (2011—2020) proposes the leading role of key cities,and the establishment of  “Six Key Cities”.Among the “Six Key Cities”,Jishou City has raised high expectations and thus its planning targets come first.This paper analyzes the advantages of establishing Jishou City as a key city in Wulingshan Region and presents countermeasures and suggestions in terms of infrastructure,specialty industry,environment,and city brand.
