Abstract: This paper selects 19 indicators from three aspects of economy, society and ecology, sets up an index system of poverty alleviation performance evaluation of giant salamander industry in Zhangjiajie City, and dynamically evaluates the poverty alleviation performance of giant salamander industry in the continuous poverty-stricken areas with  entropy weight TOPSIS method and obstacle factor analysis model. Taking Zhangjiajie City as an example, the  poverty alleviation performance of  giant salamander industry from 2012 to 2017 was analyzed. The results show that: (1) the poverty alleviation performance of Zhangjiajie giant salamander industry has improved year by year, showing an inverted U-shaped trend as a whole, and experienced poor performance (2012/20). 14), medium performance (2015), good performance (2016)and high-quality performance (2017); (2) the poverty alleviation performance in economic, social and ecological subsystems has been improved year by year, but the difference is large, with the economic performance being the most quickly improved, social performance the second, and the ecological performance  the slowest; (3) the comprehensive production government's investment and the  salamande sales are the main obstacle factors affecting the poverty alleviation performance of the salamander industry in Zhangjiajie City.

Key words: contiguous poverty-stricken areas, giant salamander, poverty alleviation performance, dynamic evaluation, entropy, TOPSIS
