Abstract: Based on the analysis of the opportunity of rural revitalization through social work, and taking the  rural social work development in Wuling Mountain Area of Hunan Province as an example, this paper explores three practical modes of rural social work for rural revitalization in Wuling Mountain Area of Hunan Province: first, in terms of coordination, from sole service  to "layered coordination" of service and system; second, in terms of working paradigm, from the complementary social work  to developmental social work; third, in terms of working methods, from relying on professional working methods to combining professional methods with local experience.
