Abstract: To overcome the shortcoming of single Kohonen network and BP network for data mining,a method for data classification based on combined neural network is put forward.The basic idea and algorithm description of this method are given.The result of simulative experiment for power transformers fault diagnosis shows that the method can overcome the before-mentioned shortcomings and  improve the accuracy of data classification.
