Abstract: According to the result of the experiment of the study of Li tsea cubeba callus’ induction culture, callus is induced easily from explants with a wide range of auxin( 2, 4- D and NAA) in combination with proper cytokinin concentration in MS medium. Dif ferent types of plant hormone and its different concentration have some effect on the growth of callus. The medium with 2, 4- D 2. 0+ 6- BA 2. 0(mg/L) is the optimized one for callus growth. The favorable pH of the medium is in the range of 5. 3~ 5. 8.
