    journal6    2004, 25 (4): 4-9.
    Abstract1903)      PDF(pc) (1474KB)(1040)       Save
By applying block-pulse function transform (BPFT) the hybrid model (H1,B) for a class of nonlinear dynamic N/S was identified in the paper. The relative formulas for calculating the hybrid model   (H1,B) and discrete recursive formulas for computing Volterra series resolution of model of N/S were derived.Based on above a fault diagnosis method of multiple preset models for N/S was also proposed. This method can judge and classify the faults occurring in N/S by checking the matching degree between each preset model and the current working state of N/S.There is no need for computing the current model of N/S and analyzing the features on line.So the method can largely reduce the computational cost and the fault diagnosis can be realized on line.An example of fault diagnosis was given here. The results show that the accuracy of fault diagnosis reaches 80-90 percent by this means.

    Abstract2998)      PDF(pc) (828KB)(1874)       Save
Phytoremediation is now regarded as one of the most important techniques to clean soil of heavy metal contamination. It is a key for phytoremediation to select proper plants.Concept of species in taxonomy is not enough in identifying plants for ecological restoration.Rather, consideration must be taken at the level of ecotype.Plants of different ecotype often have large difference in accumulating and tolerating heavy metal, although they are classified as the same species in taxonomy. They could respond differently to variation of concentration, ion form, and interaction of heavy metals.Difference in accumulating heavy metals is mainly attributed to the difference of heavy metal transporter, detoxication and genetics.Difference in enduring heavy metals is due to the difference in genetics, enzyme system and sequestration in cell of different ecotypic plants, while phytochelatins (PC) is not a key factor.Plants of different ecotype are ideal materials in study of hyperaccumulation, toleration and detoxication of heavy metals. This paper introduces the concept, origination and classification of ecotype. It also reviews research progress in heavy metal accumulation and toleration of different ecotypic plants.

    Abstract2038)      PDF(pc) (667KB)(1261)       Save
By using method of canonical piece-wise linearization and fundamental knowledge of circuit theory,a set of canonical piece-wise-linear equations for nonlinear dynamic networks is presented. This analysis method neednt calculate the time when the response crosses a boundary. The another advantage of this method is that the calculation of dynamic response is converted to algebraic recursive computation.Because the dynamic response can easily be resolved by computer simulation,a basic idea of fault diagnosis method of nonlinear dynamic networks based on wavelet-neural network is also briefly decribed.

Finally, the security verification is implemented on Web by using extended Web server of the system.

Structural damage identification is critical to the reliability evaluation of structures. Now damage identification method based on parameters of structural model is one of the research hotspots. Subspace Rotation Algorithm introduced in this paper belongs to the damage identification method based on parameters of structural model. Subspace Rotation Algorithm is based on finite element method of structures, use the matrix transform method and separates the damage location and damage extent problems and is computationally inexpensive. Subspace Rotation Algorithm is used to detect damage of an actual bridge in this paper and practice testifies that Subspace Rotation Algorithm only needs the first order frequency and shape mode to identify the main damage location and damage extent of the actual bridge so that it is simple in calculation and feasible.

A method for generating straight beam element shape functions by means of its propert ies is presented. The procedures for generating straight beam element shape function are following. Firstly, the shape functions with unknown constants at j th node in beam element are constructed by means of the properties of the shape function in remaining nodes in the same element; Secondly, the shape functions at the j th node are obtained by using the properties of this shape function at j th node; Lastly, the above steps are repeated, and then the functions at other node are found. The approach is illustrated by generating shape functions of three- node straight beam element with six degrees of freedom. The shape funct ions of two- node straight beam element with six degrees of freedom and two- node straight beam element with eight degrees of freedom are given. Compared with the classical method, the proposed method decreases the amount of work for solving shape functions obviously.
