A Schrodinger Formulation for Paraxial Light Beam Propagation

Abstract: This paper is a summary of the theory of the Schr??dinger formulation, together with the interrelated works.With the in- depth study of this theory, it has extended from the propagat ion in the real refractive index to the propagation in the complex refractive index, from the ABCD system to the effective ABCD system, and from the spatial coordinatesystem to the time coordinate system, etc.
