Abstract: This paper expounds the necessity of the development of folk tourism resources and the exploit projects of western Hunan by the analysis of the local rich and unique folk culture tourism resources; then gives the Reference of western Hunan Economic Development and Planning by the analysis of the Economic Features of  Folk tourism.
