Abstract: In this paper, the principal characteristics, and the disadvantages of Genetic Algorithm and BP algorithm are first introduced, thus a new mixed intelligent algorithm on combination of genetic algorithm and back propagation algorithm and its application to digital image recognition are proposed. The numerical experiment illustrates that the new algorithm has better efficiency.
