Abstract: Due to the default of statistics,the overall state and the development trends of the sports industry in Hunan Province are fuzzy,which results in the lack of authority for decision-making and policy development.Such default is reflected in three aspects:firstly,there are no authoritative and scientific statistical data;secondly,the statistical work is not effective and practical;thirdly,the sports industry statistical system is not perfect.To rapidly develop sports industry,the relevant government must attach great importance to the sports industry statistical work through implementation and maintenance.Furthermore,the statistical tasks must be clarified,the statistical quality be improved,and the statistical data be analyzed in depth and published.Thus,standardization and management regulation formulation of sports statistical work can be promoted steadily.
