Abstract: Through field investigation and analysis of the relevant document literature,the fundamental types and the major geomorphological tourist resources in Xiangxi are studied.Geomorphological tourist resources in this area include quartz sandstone peak forest landform,karst landform.Danxia landform,and so on,which are widely scattered and are in large quantity and good quality.But there are many problems as for the resource development,such as poor infrastructure,lack of overall development protection planning,environmental  deterioration,and so on.Accordingly,some proposals are put forward.
