Abstract: Based on analysis of income changes of rural residents and urban residents in Zhangjiajie,this paper put forwards that Zhangjiajie`s tourism industry has brought significant difference to the urban and rural incomes.From tourists' activities and consumption,urban and rural employment quality,operational income of urban and rural residents,this paper analyses the reasons for this difference.Finally from developing rural tourism with greater efforts,speeding up the construction of rural markets of local products,improving rural infrastructure,expanding rural employment,optimizing the employment structure of rural residents,measures are put forward to balance the income between urban and rural residents during the development of tourism in Zhangjiajie.
