Abstract: The convergence of the formal series solution to the initial boundary value problem for the non-homogeneous wave equation is considered.By proving the uniform convergence of the series formal series and the uniform convergence of the formal series after the partial derivative,the authors prove the existence and uniqueness of classical solution and the existence;and at the same time the authors prove the existence of the generalized solution to the initial boundary value problem for the non-homogeneous wave equation.
