Contribution  Rate of Higher Educaiton  to Economic Growth in Northeast Three Provinces

Abstract: Based on the model of Cobb-Douglas function,this paper measures the rate of contribution (Ch) made by higher education to the economic growth of northeast three provinces.The Ch of Heilongjiang,Jilin and Liaoning are 1.40%,1.25% and 1.55% respectively.The analytic result shows as follows:northeast region’s Ch is very low;Ch is influenced by the factors such as market competition degree,educational input,the correlation between higher education and economy.Therefore,northeast region should enhance the links between higher education and economy,advance higher education quality,and promote the market process in economic and educational areas.
