Abstract: With the development of higher education,coordinate development of higher education and economy receives much  attention.Taking Jiangxi province as an example and by using empirical means of VAR model and impulse response,this paper analyzes empirically the relationship between higher education and economy.The results test indicate that there are long-term relation between higher education and economy,but the accumulating effect is not obvious in different variables.
