Abstract: Problems about the regulation and the usage of Michelson interferometer are analysed and discussed in this article.It   is put  forward  that  the  localized  and  non-localized  interference  are  produced  by  different  light  source  separately,and  the  interference  of  equal  thickness  or  of  equal  inclination  depends  on  the  angle  between  M1  and  M′2 and  the  thickness  d  inside  them.Methods to regulate the instrument are thus given.
