Composition Analysis and Quality Evaluation of Seed oil Extracted from Trichosanthes Kirilowii by Different Methods

Abstract:

The extraction rate，composition and quality of Trichosanthes kirilowii seed oil extracted by Soxhlet extraction method，ultrasound-assisted extraction method，pressing method and CO₂ supercritical fluid extraction method were comparatively analyzed.The results showed that the extraction rates by ultrasound-assisted extraction and CO₂supercritical fluid extraction were higher.The quality of Trichosanthes kirilowii seed oil was retained preferably by ultrasound-assisted extraction，pressing method and CO₂ supercritical fluid extraction.Trichosanthes kirilowii seed oil has great potential as functional food and medicine.
