Interaction Between the Digital Economy and Rural Revitalization：A Case Study of the Urban Agglomeration of the Yangtze River Economic Belt

Abstract

Abstract: Panel data of 110 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2011 to 2020 are selected,and rural revitalization,digital foundation,industrial digitization and digital industrialization are included in the research framework,and the interaction between rural revitalization and the other three is empirically studied by using panel vector autoregressive model.The research results show that rural revitalization will constrain the development of digital foundation and promote the development of digital industrialization;the role of digital foundation and digital industrialization on rural revitalization is shown as constraining first and then promoting;rural revitalization and industrial digitization will promote each other.Based on this,suggestions are made to strengthen the development of digital infrastructure and local characteristic industries,implement differentiated development strategies,and play the promoting role of core cities.
