Abstract: This paper makes a sample survey on the community residents of Wuling Mountain Tourist Resort in Fuling District of Chongqing, and probes into their perception of tourism impact in terms of  economic, cultural, social, and environmental aspects. The results show that community residents think that the positive demonstration effect of tourism development is obvious, and the advantages of tourism development outweigh the disadvantages; the residents with different demographic characteristics have different perceptions and attitudes of impact, especially the residents with different education degrees; a small number of residents whose family environment has changed can not adapt to the new production and living environment. It is suggested that we should further improve the educational degrees  of residents while developing tourism, and pay attention to improving the production and living environment of residents.
