    Based on the existing video detection algorithms and the needs of intelligent transportation system,this paper builds a vehicle detection system which includes client module,named pipe communication module,feature extraction module,trajectory data processing module and database storage module.The system can detect and track the road vehicle,calculate the target vehicle data,collect the road data,query the history information and so on.The site test and on-line operation demonstrate that the vehicle detection system has high detection accuracy,strong overall performance,stable system operation and can meet the requirements of road administration.

    Taking Ponkan in Xiangxi as the research object,aponkan an grading algorithm based on color and defect detection is proposed.First,threshold segmentation and hole filling are used on the Ponkan gray image to obtain the corresponding binary image.Then,the AND operation is respectively performed between the binary image and the R,G,and B components of the Ponkan color image.After the AND operation,three monochrome images are obtained,which are combined to obtain the target area of the Ponkan color image.For the target area,the proportion of yellow pixels and the defect size are respectively extracted as the color feature parameter and defect feature parameter.Finally,decision tree model is adopted to fuse the feature parameters for grading the Ponkan.The experimental results show that,compared with grading algorithm based on a single feature,the proposed algorithm based on multiple features complementany can achieve higher  accuracy.

    Based on the observation of two major survival rules of a species of woodlice,i.e.,porcellio scaber (PS),we design and propose an algorithm called the PS algorithm for solving optimization problems.PS algorithm and PSO algorithm are used to solve a benchmark optimization problem,i.e.,McCormic function.The comparative experimental results validate the efficacy and the superiority of the proposed PS algorithm.

    According to the theory of electromagnetism and the fundamental mechanics theory,for a 405MVA/500kV converter transformer,apply the simulation software MagNet was applied to establisha three-dimension symmetric finite element model with local unbalanced ampere turns and tank wall.The simulation of short-circuit impedance  proved the accuracy of the harmonic analysis method.The short-circuit electromagnetic force was then calculated.Then the "Spring-Quality-damping" was established through ANSYS and realized the modal analysis,was realized.Action law of inertia force and elastic force applied on winding disks in the changing vibration system with points asserted multi-load and multi-degree-of-freedom was further discribed,and the distribution on line side windings of inertia force and elastic force,as well as effect on axial vibration stability of the two forces was also discussed.At last,spectrum analysis was corried out for elastic force with the method of Fourier Transform to obtain the  distribution of vibration form and energy on winding disks during vibration,and test the vibration stability for the converter transformer windings was tested.

    Aiming at the problem that the traditional symmetric component method can't be applied in power system fault analysis and calculation because of the asymmetry of the three-phase load in the distribution network,a network  equivalent Transformation method is proposed,which makes the original three-phase load asymmetric network satisfy the conditions of  the symmetrical component method.This method mainly transforms the three-phase parameter asymmetry part of the power network equivalently into a three-phase parameter symmetric network structure with a certain fault.The three-phase parameters of the circuit outside the newly added fault port symmetrically satisfy the conditions of use of the symmetrical component method.This method takes advantage of the simple structure and quick calculation of the symmetrical component method.We build a simulation platform for several load asymmetry scenarios and compare it with the calculation results of this method to verify its accuracy and feasibility.

    With the electricity consumption data in 2007—2014 as the training test sample,the mean square errors by the gray prediction method,the artificial neural network prediction method,and the  least squares support vector machine (LSSVM) prediction method based on neural network  are compared and analyzed.The results show that the a neural network-based LSSVM  method has the minimal error,and the prediction of the electricity consumption in an area of Anhui province from 2015 to 2017 is  close to the actual electricity consumption.

    This study reports the distribution of a newly recorded species Polygonatum sinopubescens (Polygonatum,Liliaceae) in the National Nature Reserve of Gaowangjie,Guzhang county,Hunan,China.The karyotype of the chromosomes of Polygonatumsinopubescens is also reported.The chromosome numbers is 2n=18 with the karyotype formula being 2n=2x=12m (2sat)+6sm (2sat) and the type is 3B.The discovery of  occurrence locality provides more diverse samples for further classification and phylogenetic analysis,and also offers the basic information for protection and rational development of germplasm resources.

    Four species of medicinal plants from northwest Hunan are newly reported in this paper,which are Diplazium viridissimum Christ,Clematis vaniotii H. Léveillé& Porter,Pueraria bouffordii H. Ohashi,Ophiorrhiza guizhouensis C. D. Yang & G. Q. Gou. These species belong to four families and four genera. All the specimens are preserved in Herbarium of Jishou University (JIU). These newly recorded plants enrich the plant diversity and floristic composition of Hunan.

    Protein was extracted from leaves of  trichosanthes kirilowii Maxim by alkali extraction method.Ultrasonic was used to increase the protein extraction rate and decrease the extraction time.Through single-factor tests and orthogonal experimental method,the optimal conditions for ultrasonic-assisted alkali extraction were determined as follows:temperature 55℃,pH10,ultrasonic time 40 min,the ultrasonic power 150W,the ratio of material to liquid l:25 (g/mL) and the concentration of NaCl 0.5 mol/L.With these technical conditions,protein yield was about 23.26%.

    Based on the results of semi-structured interviews and analytic hierarchy process principle,four criteria and 19 evaluation indexes were constructed to evaluate the performance of art societies in campus cultural prosperity.The DELPHI method and YAAHP software were used to determine the weight of the index.The fuzzy analytic hierarchical process was applied to evaluate the performance of the five art societies in Zhangjiajie campus of Jishou University.The results show that the performance of the Music and Dance Society was the best,the comprehensive weighted evaluation of which reached 85.015.It
     is suggested that to prosper campus culture,art societies should organize more theme activities,create good humanity environment,and optimize management.

    In order to provide objective and accurate bibliometric data of the scientific research achievements for discipline construction and talent training evaluation,923 SCIE (Science Citation Index Database Extensions) indexed papers affiliated with Jishou University were bibliometrically analyzed with respect to the number of articles,literature type and language,subject area,source journal,author,citation,and fund during 2007-2016.Results showed that the number of SCIE indexed papers affiliated with Jishou University showed steady growth in the past decade.Literature types are mainly of journal articles in English.The most productive disciplines are chemistry,physics,mathematics,and the most productive authors are ZHANG Zhaohui,XIAO Zhuping,and LI Youji. Of the journals with the indexed paper affiliated with Jishou University,the top one is International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology,and the major foundation is the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
