Progress in the Modification of Waterborne Polyurethane

Abstract: The waterborne polyurethane has low binding strength,drying speed,water-and weather-resistance;therefore,it is necessary to modify the waterborne polyurethane to improve its function.In this paper,the techniques and methods for the modification of the waterborne polyurethane,such as the modification by cross linking,by polyacrylates,by epoxy,by organic silicone and other materials,are summarized.And the growing trend of the research is also proposed.
