Abstract: By using literature,data and survey,this paper surveys the current situation of college women students’ participation in sports in Changsha.The result is that they are not active enough in sports activities.Their motivation to take part in sports is to pass the physical test.Therefore,they spend a little time on physical exercises with low intensity;what’s more,the frequency of their participation is low and their item choice is monotonous.The main factors that reduce the women students’ interest in sports is the lack of field and equipment and lack of teachers.
