Fourier Analysis of Linear Multistep Methods for Partial Difference Equation

Abstract: In this paper, it is discussed how to reduce linear multistep formulas to onestep vector form, treating first explicit formulas and then implicit ones.The formulas are analysed by Fourier methods and solvability as sumption is given.
