Purification and Determination of Molecular Size of the Plasmid pATZ-1

Abstract

Abstract: The plasmid pATZ- 1 is isolated and purified from Pseudomonas sp. strain AD1 that degrades herbicide atrazine by CsCl- EB density gradient centrifugation. pATZ- 1 is digested by EcoRI and produced 14 restraction fragments. The sum total of the sizes of 14 restriction fragments, i. e. the molecular size of pATZ- 1, is 125 kb.
