Nanosized Zinc Oxide Prepared by Liquid- phase Precipitation

Abstract

Abstract: By using ZnSO₄•7H₂O and (NH₄)₂CO₃ as materials, Zinc carbonate colloid was obtained in water at room temperature with presence of surface active reagent , then Nanocrystalline ZnO was produced by decomposed after washing and desiccated. Nanosized Zinc Oxide was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction ( XRD) and transmission electron microscope ( TEM) . XRD and TEM show that ZnO crystalline is spherical particle with hexagonal structure,
the average diameter size is 5. 7 nm.
