Abstract: Here is a review of ecophysiological researches of Epimedium L . in this paper.The literature in last 10 years in this field is very poor.The achievements only include the differentiation in flavonoids contents andmorphological discrepancies of different species, or morphological discrepancies and different contents of the same species from di fferent producing areas and with dif ferent phenological characteristics , ect. The authors suggest that it is need to study physiology and ecophysiology of Epimedium L . , and to establish theoretical foundation for continually exploiting-utilizing and cultivating.
