A Survey on Employment of Statistics Graduates from Universities in Western Regions

Abstract

Abstract: Taking the employment data of statistics graduates of Jishou University from 2015 to 2019 as a case,this paper analyzes the employment of graduates from three aspects of employment industry,employment position and employment region.The results indicate that the employment situation for statistics graduates is optimistic,characterized by multiple choices in employment industries and strong professionalism in employment positions.Based on the current employment status,some suggestions are put forward to improve the employment competitiveness of statistics graduates.
