Abstract: The manganese anode slime was analyzed,and than a method of caclination-sour soak-oxidation was put forward in which the slime was produced into chemical manganese dioxide.At the time the related influencing factors were studied.By the optimum test,the crude MnO2 was obtained,the tapping density is 1.54 g/cm3,the rate of yield is 84.6％,and its crystal structure is mostly γ-type.If it is densitied,the end product can be used in battery.
