Lower Bound for the General Randic' Index of Polyomino System

Abstract: The general Randic' index of a (molecular) graph G is defined as the sum of weights (d(u)d(v))α of all edges uv of G,where d(u) denotes the degree of a vertex u in G and α is a arbitrary real number.In this paper,we obtain the lower  bounds for the general Randic' index of polyomino system with n squares for α≥1.The corresponding extremal graph is also determined.
