Abstract: Flat sheet PVDF/PES-C blend membrane is prepared by using phenolphthalein polyether sulfone (PES-C) as blending material,N,N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) as solvent,PVP K30,PVP K90 or LiCl as additives.Under the condition of different pre-evaporation time and coagulation temperature, the membrane is characterized by shrinkage ratio and pure water flux. The shrinkage ratio has a minimum and the water flux has a maximum when the content of PVP reaches 5%.The water flux changes along with the variety of pre-evaporation time, the coagulation temperature and the operating pressure.
