Disruption of the Yeast Cell Walls by Vortex-Mini-Bead Disruption Method

Abstract: Because of the difficulty to disrupt the yeast cell walls,a new method to disrupt yeast cell walls named vortex-mini-bead disruption is proposed in this paper.The ratio of broken yeast cells is obtained to 95.28% by the new method.The new method does not need costly equipment and is easily operated,so it is popularized in laboratory.Furthermore,the new method can be applied to break the walls of others fungal cells.
