Abstract: Volatile oil from the flowers of ligustrum sinense var.mysianthum was extracted by supercritical carbon dioxide and analyzed by gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS).The major component of volatile oil was determined to be phenylethyl. The factors affecting extraction yield such as pressure and temperature were discussed. The results showed that the optimal extraction parameters were 25 MPa and 55 ℃.
