Dynamic and Time-Historical Analysis of Elasto-Plasticity ofY-Shape Traverse with Steel Pipe Trusses

Abstract:

The elasto-plasticity of Y-shape traverse with steel pipe trusses was studied. MIDAS Gen was used to establish the elasto-plastic finite element model.The seismic wave input motion included 2 sets of natural waves and 1 set of artificial waves by means of target response spectrum selection,elasto-plastic time-historical analysis of the integral structures subjected to three-dimensional rare earthquakes was conducted,and responses of the deformation and plasticity status were also studied.The results show that the key component of traverse was elastic under rare earthquake and deformation met the requirements of specifications,indicating that the design of the Y-shape traverse with steel pipe trusses achieved the objective earthquake resistance performance and the anti-seismic behavior was good.
