Abstract: This paper reported the frequencies of Mongolian pleat,eye fold of the upper eyelid,shovel type front tooth and earlobe among the 588 people of (265 males,323 females) Miao nationality in Fenghuang Hunan.The result revealed that:1) the frequency of Mongolian pleat was 97.62%,that of eye fold of the upper eyelid was 55.10%,that of shovel front tooth was 89.28%,and that of earlobe was 83.50%;2) there was no significant difference between the male and the female about the frequencies of Mongolian pleat,shovel front tooth,earlobe(P＞0.05);3) there was significant difference about eye fold of the upper eyelid between the male (50.57%) and the female (58.82%);4) there was no correlation among the four genetic characteristics.
