Abstract: The meaning and the main characteristics of natural resources are comprehensively discussed from the point of environmental science and economics.The current situation in China of soil,water,mineral,climate and biological resources is introduced.Based on the above introduction,some ideas of the exploitation and utilization of the resources are put forward by some scholars.
