Effects of Microgrooves Structure on Bubble Period on Surfaces with Micro-Nano Composite Structure

Abstract:

The visualization study of the period of bubble behavior in the microgroove heat sinks was implemented by high speed photography technique.The microgroove plates were vertically placed and coated with 250 nm titanium nano coating to generate micro-nano composite structure surface.The results showed that when the heat flux density was small,the bubble period decreased with the increase of micro groove depth-width ratio;with the increase of heat flux density,bubble period decreased,and the micro-scale effect on bubble period was weaken as well.
