Abstract:

To analyze the clinical efficacy for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures of the spine using local anesthesia vertebroplasty,100 cases of vertebroplasty using local anesthesia were randomly selected for the study.VAS (Visual Analogue Scale) is used as the standard to evaluate the pain degree of patients. The results showed that before the surgery,100 patients’ VAS scores were 8~10;after the surgery,88 patients’ VAS scores were less than 2,12 patients’ VAS scores were 2~5.It is concluded that vertebroplasty can effectively relieve pain caused by osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures and has satisfactory clinical efficacy.
