Comprehensive Reform of Instructional Programs by Universities in the West Minority Areas:A Case Study of Jishou University

Abstract:

The Comprehensive Reform of Instructional Programs enforced by the Ministry of Education is one of the most important projects of undergraduate education and it is a precious opportunity for the universities in west minority areas.In the course of the Comprehensive Reform of Instructional Programs,it is essential to find the similarities and differences in the aspect of discipline construction between universities in west minority areas and other areas.To formulate projects appropriate to the development of universities in the west areas under the guidance of the principles of the Comprehensive Reform of Instructional Programs,the specific economic conditions of the minority areas should be considered,the characteristics of schooling and talent cultivation should be prioritized;furthermore,the demands of the society and the all-round development of students should be emphasized.
