Abstract: In order to construct augmented designs more flexibly,the author uses a method without computer search which begins with an initial design with less number of columns and transforms by some rules to construct two-level optimal column augmented designs.In addition,the relationship between the column augmented designs and their initial designs is discussed under the E(s) criterion,the generalized minimum aberration criterion and the minimum moment aberration criterion.
