Impact of Policy Perception on College Students' Grassroots Employment Intention:A Moderated Mediation Model

Abstract: To investigate the impact of policy perception on college students' grassroots employment intention,a mediating model was constructed in which policy perception impact s college students' grassroots employment intention through public service motivation,and the moderating role of career adaptability in this model was examined.Using structural equation modeling on 1 320 valid questionnaires,the results showed that:policy perception had a significant positively predictive effect on college students' grassroots employment intention.Public service motivation played a mediating role between policy perception and college students' grassroots employment intention.Career adaptability moderated both the direct effect of policy perception on college students' grassroots employment intention and the indirect effect through public service motivation.
