Abstract: In this paper, the improved Hummers method was used to prepare graphene oxide (GO).Electrochemical deposition method was used to deposit graphene and silver on conductive glass at room temperature and pressure to prepare graphene-silver composites.Dimethyl carbonate (DMC) was synthesized by electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide combined with methanol (CH3OH) and iodide methane (CH3I) in acetonitrile solution with graphene-silver electrode as cathode. On this basis, the effects of different GO volumes, dispersant types and concentrations on the morphology of graphene-silver composites were discussed, and the effects of different electrolytic time on the DMC yield were also discussed. The results showed that the graphene-silver composites had good morphology when the GO volume was 10 mL,dispersant was PVP and dispersant concentration was 0.5 mol/L.When the electrolytic potential was -2.0 V,the temperature was 25 ℃,the supporting salt concentration was 0.1 mol/L,and the electrolytic time was 10 h,the yield of DMC was 36.8%,which was the best experimental conditions.
