Abstract:

A 120-day experiment of decomposition was carried out in field using simulated acidolysis of Cinnamomum camphora litter to analyze mass loss,CO2 release and related microbial enzymes. The results showed that acidolysis did not significantly affect mass loss of litter in the former stage, but mass loss increased with strengthening of acidolysis in the later stage.CO2 release in degrading litter had not significant difference among each treatment of acidolysis, but related enzymes such as Cx,β-glucosidase,α-amylase,laccase and peroxidase were significantly improved in the treatment of pH was 4.0.In conclusion, acidolysis of acid rain significantly improves the litter decomposition of C. camphora in the short period.
