Abstract: From the perspective of social and cultural changes,the inheritance,protection,and development of traditional sports in ethnic villages in China have been analyzed.It is put forward that under the new historical conditions,four actions can be taken:first,the cultural identity of traditional sports in original ethnic villages should be strengthened;second,the protection of intangible culture heritage of traditional sports in ethnic villages should be enhanced;third,the government protection should be intensified by formulating protection countermeasures；fourth and the last,the inheritance and development of traditional sports in ethnic villages can be reinforced at school.
