Abstract: After the cold war,the US-Japan alliance has been making adjustment to the change of the international pattern.And now,restraining and encircling China has become the strategic goal of the US-Japan alliance.This certainly offends China’s core interests and is closely connected with China’s national security.However,because of the interest conflict,the collision of ocean strategy,cultural difference,world pattern and China’s development,there are many contradictions in the US-Japan alliance.Therefore,China should seize the opportunity and appropriately handle Sino-US and Sino-Japan relations.
