The existence of periodic solutions for non-automous second order Hamiltonian systems on time scales is studied.With the linear growth of nonlinear terms,the periodic solutions for the systems are converted into the critical points of a functional defined in a proper spaceļ¼and the existence of periodic solutions is thus proved by critical point theory.
