Abstract:

Tannin-immobilized on aldocellulose resin was prepared by the phenolic reaction of tannin immobilized on aldocellulose, where aldocellulose was prepared by the oxidation of cellulose with sodium periodate. The adsorption properties of tannin-immobilized on aldocellulose resin for berberine hydrochloride were investigated. At 298 k,the adsorption capacity of berberine hydrochlorid tannin-immobilized on aldocellulose resin was 143.66 mg/g when the concentration of berberine hydrochloride was 300 mg/L,and the adsorption ratio of berberine hydrochloride on tannin-immobilized on aldocellulose resin was higher than 91.64 % when the mass concentration of berberine hydrochloride was lower than 50 mg/L.The adsorption for berberine hydrochloride of equilibrium experiments and kinetics studies fitted well with the Langmuir model and Pseudo-first-order model, respectively. The amount of berberine hydrochloride adsorbed by the tannin-immobilized on aldocellulose resin did not decrease significantly after  4 times of reusing.
